"It's a Wonderful Life - A Live Radio Play" (Nov. 29 to Dec. 30) is a show within a show, set inside Studio A at WBFR Radio in December 1946, when a cast of actors will share the story of "It's a Wonderful Life" to their listening audience. As for Oil Lamp Theater's audience, they'll be treated to complimentary cookies, nuts, candy, and hot chocolate in the festively decorated lobby.

And don’t miss Salt Creek Ballet’s “The Nutcracker" Dec. 15-16 for even more classic holiday fun. This performance will feature students from 25 Illinois cities and is the perfect way to introduce your little ones to this timeless tale. Speaking of kiddos, make plans now to see the all-new musical “American Girl Live!," Dec. 21-23 in which your favorite American Girl characters will come to life through a story of bravery and friendship set to song.
